GOLAN HEIGHTS

Highlights from the

CAESAREA

PHILIPPI

Caesarea Philippi was once a key city of Greco-Roman culture and trade in Israel. Its location, near the source of the Jordan River, makes for lush gardens, scenic walking trails, and roaring waterfalls. It was here, in the midst of paganism and idolatry that Jesus asked of His disciples "who do men say that I am?". Being here will give you the chance to reflect on those words for yourself.

The Road to

DAMASCUS

The impressive views from Mt. Bental are not to be forgotten. From one of Israel's highest peaks on the Golan you can look over into the countries of Syria and Lebanon. You can almost hear the tank battles in the Valley of Tears below as they fought to maintain control of the precious natural border of the Golan mountain range during Israel's wars. But for believers, it's the road leading to Damascus that holds the most meaning. Saul travelled this road and was forever changed.
