TEMPLE

Few moments in Scripture are more poignant than the scene where God requires Abraham to offer up his son Isaac on Mt. Moriah. Later David and his son, Solomon, conceive and build a home for God's presence on the same mountain. And centuries later, the boy Jesus comes to the Temple with Mary and Joseph. You'll walk on Temple Mount and we'll talk about all that happened here and what prophecies have yet to be fulfilled.

MOUNT

JERUSALEM

CITY OF

DAVID

Just below the threshing floor of Mt. Moriah lies the ancient City of David. Archaelogical digs have uncovered fascinating evidence of the Jebusite city captured by King David and proclaimed the capital of his kingdom. Today, you can see the remains of the city, the water shaft used by David's soldiers to take the city, and the incredible Hezekiah's Tunnel from the Old Testament period built to bring the only source of water inside the city walls. Most recently, excavations have uncovered the Pools of Siloam mentioned in the New Testament miracle of blind Bartema us with its grand steps and porticos.

The OLD CITY

The walled "Old City" of Jerusalem holds endless fascination. It's four neighborhoods -- Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and Armenian -- tell the tale of a city conquered and rebuilt over 40 times in it's history. Within it's walls is the most spiritually significant piece of real estate in the world -- Temple Mount. The ancient markets of the Arab Quarter, the bustling center of the Jewish Quarter, and the possible site of Jesus' crucifixtion tucked along an alley corridor within the Christian Quarter make the Old City of Jerusalem a treasure to explore.
