OLD JAFFA

Jaffa is a city of "beginnings".  It is where Jonah set sail, where Tabitha's life was restored, and where God called Peter through a rooftop vision to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles.  It is fitting that you will begin your own journey in the Holy Land in this quaint, lively sister city to Tel-Aviv. It is full of picturesque streets, old markets, peaceful churches, and a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea.

CAESAREA

Once the capital of the country during Rome's rule, Caesarea is a highlight of the coastal region. It's famous aqueduct, impressive theater, large walls built by the Crusaders, and much more stand as a testimony to how important this place was in the ancient world. It was also to Caesarea that Peter came after his vision in Jaffa, and subsequently where the very first Gentile became a believer in Jesus Christ.

MARATIMA

Highlights of the

The battle between Elijah and the prophets of Baal took place on Mt. Carmel and here, at the highest point, you can relive the moment. Here also, Elijah sent his servant to watch for clouds of promised rain to come from the west. Overlooking the Brook Kishon and the impressive Jezreel Valley, the story of Elijah will come to life. You can almost see Elijah girding up his loins to run the length of the Valley as the rains descend on a drought-ridden land.
